The vibrant Abudelauri lakes are situated at the head of the Abudelauri river gorge in Khevsureti, nestled at an impressive elevation of 2600 meters above sea level. Comprising three distinct bodies of water—Green Lake, Blue Lake, and White Lake—Lake Abudelauri offers a striking natural spectacle. The Green and Blue Lakes are positioned in close proximity to each other, while the White Lake rests a bit farther away, nestled at the base of the Chaukhi Massif and accessible via a relatively more challenging route. The most direct and simplest route to reach Lake Abudelauri is a 7-kilometer trek from the village of Roshka. Alternatively, one can embark on the Juta-Abudelauri route, spanning two days, commencing in Juta and culminating in Roshka. These magnificent Abudelauri lakes remain cloaked in snow until the middle of May. However, come June and July, the snow cover significantly recedes, allowing for the most ideal time to witness the vivid, colorful charm of the Abudelauri lakes.
